THE ASC PATHWAYS
The Ardnashee Pathways is a creative model for delivering a successful and tailored education and pastoral support programme adapted to what our individual learners need.
There are 3 learning pathways - Achieve, Succeed and Conquer. These are informed by the sen statement and data from school based assessments enabling teachers to adapt lessons for all learners to engage in education at an appropriate pace.
There are 3 pastoral pathways - Advocate, Support and Champion. These are informed by the nurture or medical support systems that may be required for a learner throughout their educational journey.
The pathways model allows flexibility for the teacher as a learners profile or needs may change throughout their time in ARDNASHEE. The pathways system enables the pastoral team to make careful decisions about class structures to ensure your child has an appropriate learning environment and support team around them.
We are committed to adapting our teaching methods to ensure every child has the chance to make progress in ARDNASHEE School and College both in their learning and pastoral journey.
